TCT Series Augers
Drive connections: 2-9/16 inch round or 2 inch hexagon
The TCT Series features boring head configurations cast from alloy steel and incorporate concial-type, Tungsten Carbide bits for operation in compacted soils, fracturable rocks or in solid formations where adequate torque and downforce can be sustained. Ideal solutions for tough drilling projects in caliche, hardpan, as well as sandstone and limestone formations where conventional augers get stopped or produce less than desirable productivity rates.
TCT Series Augers are available in standard 36, 48 and 60 inch effective digging lengths from 6 to 24 inch diameter. Thick, sectional type flighting is lapped welded to maximize strength and minimize excavated material falling back into the hole. Heavy duty axle configurations are designed to withstand the higher torsional stresses encountered when drilling.
