Fasteners and Related Hardware
All fasteners and related hardware are of steel construction and Unified National Coarse, UNC, unless noted. Cap screws will normally be of SAE Grade 5 or higher. Most fasteners will feature a zinc dichromate finish for corrosion resistance. AL denotes an aluminum fastener. SS denotes a stainless steel fastener. LH denotes a left hand threaded fastener.

Explanation of the General Equipment Company Fastener Part Numbering System
General Equipment Company utilizes a modified AN (Army/Navy) system similar to that utilized by the US military. For example: Part Number 15051200 denotes the following:
15 denotes a hexagon head cap screw;
05 denotes the diameter in 1/16 inch increments, or 5/16 inch;
12 denotes the length in 1/8 inch increments, or 1-1/2 inch.
The digit 0 denotes a standard SAE configuration. The digit 1 in the same location would denote a metric configuration.
The last digit 0 in the part number denotes a UNC thread configuration for a threaded fastener. The digit 1 in the same location would denote a UNF

ORDER CANCELLATION CHARGES All applicable material and labor charges will be invoiced for merchandise designed and manufactured to special customer specification that is cancelled before shipment is made.
